“Just remember to pass to the ones wearing white,” said WWB as we all donned our RED jerseys for this game. It was a great start for the Dictator in the absence of our captain.

Having come off our 7-0 thrashing against VSC the last time we played them, We knew we had the upper hand on them from the start and that came quickly when Will Couston flicked the ball straight at the defender's feet drawing a stroke just as he planned. What he probably should have planned was the direction the ball was going to go during the stroke. But if he didn’t know where the ball was going neither did the keeper as he was sent the wrong way and Tornados went up 1- 0.

Shortly after the goal, there was a change in forwards, coming off Ming Wei and coming on… WWB??? But I guess if you’re the Dictator, you can do whatever you want.

The second goal came from Ming Wei with a nice drag flick straight at the keeper's face who forgot he had a helmet on to protect him in such scenarios and decided to save his already protected face at the cost of conceding another goal.

The second half of the game saw us get another goal from Will Couston, I forgot how it happened as I wasn’t paying attention (my bad)

After Ollie made a tremendous save of kicking away a ball coming straight at him in the first half, he thought he’d met his saves quota for the game (which is a lot more than he did the previous game, to be honest) and decided to let one slip past him at significant pace over his right shoulder. We were slacking off so we did need a bit of a wake-up call. Cheers Ollie

With some words of encouragement from Jonny, we progressed the game and found a fourth goal, Clint somehow got past a few defenders and drew a foul in the D but since he had the ball with him, play continued catching VSC by surprise as he slotted it past the keeper. Simple finish 4-1 up now.

The fifth goal came from Will Couston who tried to hit it on his reverse across the goal but it was going wide. Lorenzo, who had been using his legs more than his stick for about 80% of the game took notice of the trajectory of the ball and took the opportunity to tap it onto his stick into the goal. The ball however hit his leg before hitting his stick and trailing into the goal. But just as Maradona did when he performed the hand of god against England, Lorenzo celebrated as if he did no wrong.
