L2 vs ACSOBASG

It was a pleasant evening for playing hockey with the sun just going down and slightly cooler than usual. Everyone was geared up to play, despite being a man down and the fact that we were continuing a game we had started previously, leaving us with less time. We were all very grateful for Salan who still came to coach us on his birthday! He’s really shown us his dedication to the team!

It was tough when the other team scored a large amount of goals and we knew that we were far behind and needed to ‘up our game’. Salan realiszd at half time that number 66 was always getting passed to and often scoring the goals. In order to prevent this we put Val in to mark her and this made a noticeable difference to the amount they got the ball, as No. 66 was guarded fiercely.

Unfortunately, we still lost the match but everyone was incredible and gave their best. Most importantly we all had fun. Let’s hope we win one of our other matches!!!
